In fact the replacement is slightly better, which I can push the track on top slightly through the transparent shell to let the ball go through. I’m planning to order a replacement again to see if I can get one completely free of this defect, as even there’s the “workaround” I’ve mentioned above, I worry that this issue would get worse at a point my “workaround” stopped working. This was a gift and the person who received it likes it very much and says its a good brain teaser. Note this is not an obstacle by design, I simply cannot go through step 36 on the first one I received.

I didn’t disappoint about the game YET step 36 has a manufacturing defect (see pictures) on both the first one I received and also the replacement. I first unknowingly got a fake copy of Perplexus and absolutely love it, later found out Perplexus is the original and as I’ve finished the fake copy (of the Perplexus original) I have to get the more difficult Epic.

I’m not sure if this is a widespread issue, as I can’t find any mentioning of step 36 online, or it is just this batch. I’ve considered simply return it and get refund but I just can’t find a physical toy store that sell this.
