Totally silent and a lovely orange glow - perfect nightlight. So no need for whopping big holes in the ceiling.

5 inch wood screws and screwed up into the ceiling. One very happy 7yr old!

Only things I'd like to see improved are the noise level and the light could be alittle brighter, otherwise it's great. The media could not be loaded. 3 weeks on this has held perfectly.

It's pretty quiet when in motion and the light isn't too bright. I just drilled 2 pilot holes then swapped their screws for standard 1.

Took us 10 minutes to build the planets and attach together (they definitely need help) then another 5 mins to attach to ceiling. No it doesn't attach to your existing light (which would have been good) BUT it also doesn't need the industrial grade screws and fixing kit that it comes with. Our 4-year-old is thrilled! I was dubious after reading the reviews but this is really good.
