Also the blade is only sharpened on one side. You cut with a rocking motion, and only the "rocking" part is sharpened. Couple of unusual things worth pointing out, The handle isn't circular it's oval ( see photo).
As soon as you manage to extract it from its "thief proof" plastic packaging you can tell this is a quality item. The person I bought it for is very pleased with it.
Never seen a knife blade like this before but it cuts very well indeed. (I had to resort to using a Stanley knife).
It's a fair old chunk of stainless steel which should last for many years. It feels well made. Finally the knife has CHINA engraved into the blade, so to that extent the description of "Made in Taiwan" is misleading.
