My daughter found it was comfortable and quite soft to use and didn't complain about awkwardness. The design of this grip enables correct placement of the index and middle fingers and thumb. I’m an occupational therapist and this is one of my favourite pencil grips.

All my life, I've had issues with my hands cramping when writing which I've always attributed to my dyspraxia affecting how I hold my pens. These also have enough stretch in them to fit a regular size pencil but also over a larger kindergarten sized pencil. The media could not be loaded. ☑ Positives- Stopped my hands from cramping- Forces you to hold a pen correctly- Works for left and right-handed users- Stretchy enough to fit most pens and pencils☒ Negatives- Bulky
