It's cheap and cheerful and with Amazon & Hoover backing it up I can't see a good reason not the buy one. It's well under £100 and some others can cost up to £400. It Hoovered the landing carpet brilliantly, this has grooved in the weave so it doesn't stick so easily. This multi purpose Hoover works for me, it will probably stay upstairs to avoid carrying the other machine up and down the stairs.

Overall though very happy to have and easy to use This sucks well and is a relatively low wattage so environmentally quite good. It was a bit tricky to push on a rug, but most vacuums are awkward in this situation. Very Light Weight very basic Vacuum cleaner.
What a difference to the rug, it looked clean and Hoovered and the collecting box on the front was one third full with fluff, dirt and stuff ! There are some very negative reviews on this machine, I speak as I find and for the money I think it's good value. I changed rooms and attacked the maroon rug on the oak floor.
As with most things, you buy what you can afford! ! Very simple to assemble the handle clicks in and can be removed for storage as can be seen in the pictures.

I tried on a fitted carpet and it was hard work pushing, this wasn't the Hoover as the fancy German machine has the same trouble except you can turn downtime suction and push it easier but it doesn't pick up so well ! My only complaint the power cable is probably 1. With this we have to get an extension lead out to vacuum our porch something we have never had to do with any other vacuum.
