You can't save PS1 games directly to it , you need a PS 1 memory card for that, but you can copy PS 1 game files from a PS1 memory card to a PS2 memory card for the sake of storage to make room on your PS1 memory card. the in game date of my save file is wrong but that doesn't have to do anything with the memory card. Just what i wanted since i have a PS2 silm and i needed one for saving my game progress. Excellent peripheral for the PlayStation 2 & a requirement to save PS 2 game data.

Great device that you will need to save your PS2 saved game files. It's an original ps2 memory card from Sony. It was exactly what I wanted, and official Sony PS2 memory card. I did have to delete some previous saves, but that was okay with me!

You also have to copy PS1 files from a PS2 memory card to a PS1 memory card for the PlayStation 1 or 2 to load saved data for a PS 1 game. Do not buy a 3rd party PS 2 memory card- buy only the Sony brand & you'll be much better off for it! It's a bit dirty cause it's used and probably could have been cleaned better but getting the dirt out of every nook and cranny of used stuff is really hard anyways.

But one thing have to delete the already saved progress on the card but its not hard to remove but thankyou so much i may get another one sometime soon Saving and loading works perfectly.

Also I was busy worrying if it's gonna be a fake replica so i don't really care and am really happy with it. Thanks so much.
