He was a blue penguin. They are very unique (though I do recognise the author/illustrator as having illustrated A First Book of Animals )The images look a little like a collage of different prints with really lovely images of the penguins.

At first poor Blue Penguin is lonely and starts to sing a song, hoping to be taken away from his lonely home. An unbiased review of a free product.
I couldn't quite put my finger on it but there was something about this tale that just felt lacking at the end, though I'm really not sure what it is. But still a great picture book to read this winter. Blue penguin feels like a penguin and does the same things that penguins do but the other penguins will not except him because he is different.
