Makes less mess and has saved me having to replace the diamond tipped drill bit due to high friction levels. Unfortunately, I have no idea what it's like from an intimate point of view as at nearly 50 that kind of hanky-panky ended years ago.
Works perfectly, even though that's not what it's was designed for. Brought the KY lubricant for drilling small holes through tiles to replace the messy water system I have.
