Do not cover with insulation if installing in your roof space. These 240V LED light units are easy to install, with only two wires (Live and Neutral) and have no need for a separate driver unit. These units are plastic, but shouldn't warm up too much.

They have a good spread of light and the diffuser reduces the glare from the ceiling.
