Maybe the manufacturer has changed the colour of the lid for some reason; but in our opinion the two colours clash and spoil the look of the turtle now that the difference is so obvious. It is sturdy enough and I have no reason to think it won't last for quite some time.

Good quality small sandpit that doesn’t take up too much place in the garden. The feet make a seat. We had assumed this would be the same as our old one and did not look too carefully at the picture on Amazon before we bought it, but had seen the larger 'standout features' where the colours are the same. Bought two of these for my dogs - one to use as a hard wearing pool, and one to use as a dig pit.

We filled it with balls inside the house, then water in the garden, which turned it into a paddling pool. Very pleased we bought 2 X 25kgs of sand, from Amazon , which half fill it. The lid is a bit flimsy and thin compared to the turtle but haven't come off so far, so it is doing it's job just fine.
