for someone who sketches a lot I love using these to sketch with, plus you can erase them easily and I love that about them! Overall I think that these prismacolor pencils are inexpensive and descent.

Black being quite like a regular lead pencil. Lead is thick compared to a normal pencil. I got the Wearhouse deal, so not sure if that has something to do with it. Most sharpened great except the black and yellow.

Finally these pencils are available in the Indian Market. I use erasable pens from frixion that work far better than these do in terms of erasing. Lines erase well. Follow up:I contacted Prismacolor directly and they replaced the two broken colors

Other pencils are fine. Depending on the force we apply, there is really a difference in pigmentation, which is a plus to differentiate constructional traits from definitive traits! And yellow being too light. But I will definitely buy the 24 pack one day!

It’s pretty good and sharpens them to a nice point for those small details. Theyre good for getting the barebones sketch to then outline with like a fineliner.

I havent used them for coloring,but thats because ive never liked using coloring pencils. Only wish that they didn't include black and yellow pencils. Quality pencils

I tried sharpening these and had a few minor casualties because I was pushing the pencil too hard into the sharpener. would buy again! It changes classic gray pencils and it helps to avoid strokes not very nice under a watercolor for example! If you want to avoid losing part of the pencil, be careful when sharpening them.
