As the smaller garden creatures, ants, worm, snails, etc. Albert the tortoise wakes up to find himself upside down in the garden.

My 2 tortoises live in my classroom and I thought this would be a great story to buy my class. Somehow, the fact that the book is based on a real tortoise makes it all the more special to me and I can’t wait to read more about the real Albert and see him in other picture books too. In CoronaVirus Pandemic we've needed to pull together more than ever and Albert Upside Down is a fantastic way to teach kids what indiscriminate Community Spirit is all about.

my children are teenagers and I received the book for my birthday ! This is a brilliant story! I’m sure plenty of kids and adults will enjoy this book as much as I have! ‘Upside Down Albert’ is a little wider and shorter than A4 in size and in paperback is filled with lots of thick matt pages full of illustrations and text.

I think the illustrations will really be something fun to look at and I can see some children looking at this book again and again for the illustrations alone (it’s what I often did as a child). My kids loved the beautiful illustrations.

Albert tells him he needs help to get up and soon the entire garden of creatures comes to his aid, but will any of them be able to help Albert turn over? This book is beautifully illustrated and is a lovely story.

Never mind the Ninja Turtles, Albert is the real hero in a half shell. Even the fun extras like the large daddy long legs spider having little boots to wear or the ant with the hat make this all the more interesting to look at. We got all 3 of the current books and my 4 year is enthralled by them!
