It gets up to temperature in the time it takes to tie my work boots and pack my stuff in gym bag. I'd rather bring my comb to the hotel and use the blow dryer. The cover is good and can just slot it on after use and not worry about melting a hole in side of bag. It's really great stuff to have.

I was not expecting much from this with it being battery powered but I was wrong for sure, the product comes very well packaged and is extremely premium feeling it is very well build and you can tell only quality materials were used in the making it feels like a product that is build to last, my beard is very thick and frizzy and can be quite hard to manage, I used this in conjunction with a beard oil and I was so pleased with the end result it gives reall nice shape to my beard whilst I’m not going to lie and say my beard was straight it did a great job of styling it and keeping down the stray hairs, I have a plug in beard straightener and it was not far off, the only tall tale being told here in my opinion is that this goes up to 200 degrees, my plug in one does and this rechargeable one gets no where near as hot as that other than the little fib it’s a great product
