It took me about an hour to finish it, which was much longer than I anticipated. Fun toy, recommend it but definitely an adult assembly item.

Cold out so set up in bathroom which is not optimal due to the obvious water spillage. Maybe plywood tape parts.

If I remember correctly there were 22 strips to apply and you definitely don’t want to rush this part because that’s what’s keeping the tracks watertight. There is so much to do and explore, and this is amazing for the imagination. I loved how easy the instructions were to follow and how easy it was to put together.

The plastic this set it made of looks and feels durable and sturdy. He needed my help to show him how to fill it up by completely submerging the cannon in water but now he’s a pro at it and shooting the water into the rushing down the slide boats is his favorite activity. My son’s favorite features are the lift that brings the boats to the top of the slide and of course the slide itself. For that reason I prefer to empty the water after each day and without a plug it isn’t the easiest task.

The assembly process is not difficult but it is time consuming. . All parts work smoothly and exactly as advertised in the listing.

This set is large and can easily accommodate 3 children playing at the same time. Some where easier to fit than others but ultimately I was able to build the whole set exactly as shown on the box and there were and still are no leaks whatsoever.
