He's now at the point where he is expected to suffer heart failure within 2 years so the vet has put him on blood thinners to try and minimise his risk of heart attack. It really does work and makes pill taking with your cat so easy.

We sneaky a pill into the last but one piece and it is wolfed down. Yay! I would recommend this product to any cat owner, in fact I have recommended it to all my cat owning friends and the supermarket cashier who I know has a cat.

Only a two person vs one wriggly, angry cat wrestling match let us come anywhere near close to medicating him - one of us wrapped him in a towel and kept him wedged between our legs, while the other got to work at the business end and hoped for the best. He has just been diagnosed with a series problem and has to take medication to make him feel a bit better and more comfortable.

I have never actually managed to pick him up and administering a tablet would have resulted in a free pass to the local A&E. Easypill Cat Putty is wonderful for getting Rusty to take his pills. Some Googling brought up this as an option to try, and it really is worth its weight in gold. These come as 4 individually wrapped pieces so you don’t end up wasting any.
