I have four Mine just sits on a ledge so I've not used the adhesive or metal strips. I bought a similar light not long ago and have found it so useful in the little cupboard under the stairs, that I also wanted one for my wardrobe.

Then a couple of double 3M tape, which is used to stick two included metal strips. They are great and a charge lasts weeks. Although it's not super bright, it's certainly bright enough to illuminate a dark cupboard or wardrobe and it's also ideal for using as night light too.

I wasn't even in the dark for my eyes to be dazzled, it was indoors during the day, with natural light, and I was dazzled with the bright LEDs. Shuts down quickly too saving energy. These are the second lights I have bought. Ideal for bathroom.
