When the dust bag is full through will be alerted on the app, or a orange light on the unit comes on also. Although it will go right back to where it left off to finish the job once it's recharged and as long as you don't interfere by touching its buttons or using the app. It is absolutely competitive with other high-end brands for a more reasonable price tag. If you've never had a robot vac, they vacuum everyday if you let it and it takes roughly a week for it to do what you would do once a week with a powerful upright corded vac.

Until then I'll leave it off, which is disappointing as this was one of my main reasons for purchase. The charging dock's dust bag claims it to needs to only be replaced once every 65 days. I love how I can schedule cleanings and forget it.

I don't know if this is a color thing that it's having difficulty with, but I believe this MAY be something that can be worked out in a software update. When you spend 4 hours cleaning over 2000sqft there are a lot of chances to get interrupted. I was originally torn between this, and another name brand robot vacuum and decided to purchase the Z10 based on price and it's obstacle Avoidance. Having owned four different vacuums from four different brands this one stacks up well.

The auto-empty feature lets it handle large spaces better and being able to navigate around many obstacles while still finding its dock is really a torture test. I can find replacement vacuum filters for the Z10 but no luck finding replacement charging dock bags. (They may be there, I just couldn't find them). If you can't and this robot is priced along with the higher end, more established brands (Roomba, Shark, Samsung, etc) then I'd hold off until some of the software bugs are worked out.
