Overall you have to put an effort to keep it going from time to time. It’s easy to clean. Lodge 38.

When I was done, I rinsed it with hot water, dried it and popped it back on the (still hot) hob to evaporate whatever was left of the water, and wiped it with a thin layer of oil. So great for one pot meals as it can also go straight in the oven, reheating, pan frying, oven cooking.

No it’s not super smooth as other stated comparing to pan for £120, but nothing sticks to it so no complaints there. I could have left the pan on to heat up a little longer as the base wasn’t evenly heated to begin with, but after the second pancake it was cooking evenly all the way around. I've wanted to start replacing our dying pans with more sustainable alternatives, and the Lodge 10 inch was my first purchase.
