The Carabiner keeps them all together, so u don't have to indulge on a frantic ropes search, at the last minute. While looking for books to bring on vacation I decided to look for an old copy of Ragnar's ropes, knots and slings that I used years ago for my knot knowledge. Also, as you can see in the picture, the packaging is very well assembled and will slip right into a Stocking this Christmas!

I have similar cards from another company for other survival skills, and these are higher quality and better made. These knots are perfect for boaters, hikers, contractors, fishermen or fisherwomen. The cards are beautifully printed, crystal clear instructions and and include great memory Mnemonics so you will be able to tie the knot even when you don't have the cards with you.

Clear diagrams for explaining basic knots and when to use them. Perfect size for the flight and to bring to the pool while relaxing and enjoying the re-learning of the great selections of useful knots. Very handy on a job site or in the great outdoors.

Instructions seem to be easy to follow too. Two things I would change is the paracord, which is very stiff and the carabiner which is too big for the hole in the cards. They are a lot of fun. I try to avoid relying on the lazy adage "Don't know a knot?

Small "rope" and carabineer but mostly got this for the handy card set for hiking entertainment for the kids. Cards are easy to understand and extremely useful. A couple instructions could be slightly better but they will get you there.
