The fan has 2 settings and it runs at a constant fan speed so the noise is steady and easy to get used to. When I first set it up I found it noisy but I got used to it easily. This is in a room of about 30m2 (with a high ceiling) which is twice the size recommended.
I’m quite pleased. After it’s around 45-50% except when the reservoir has got full so it has stopped running.
I’ve had this for a few days now. The manual says it can be connected to a drain and they include a short pipe but I haven’t tried that yet. A feature I like it that it will restart itself after the power is switched off at the wall. The attached charts show the readout from my Piper unit in the same room.
You can see the humidity level start to fall at the same time as the noise level increases. This means it should work with a timer switch, to save power. Before getting the dehumidifier it ranged 60-65%.
My only gripe with the design is that the 2L water pot is quite awkward and it fills up to about 1cm from the rim do it’s not easy to carry the full reservoir without spilling. I’m finding I need to empty it every day.
