I was a bit hesitant at when I first got it as bread doesn’t fit in it perfectly (Warburtons medium/wholemeal) however I was quite happy in how the toasties turned out. The plates come away from the element easily (with the press of the buttons) and can be wiped clean or sloshed about in the washing up bowl ready for the next time. Used it today for sandwich and waffles and am pretty impressed.

Well it took me ages to decide which sandwich toaster to buy I already had one and it was a small one . Great product! Even although they are not sealed along the edges it doesn’t matter as it works fine.

Can't wait to try waffles and toasties next. attached are some pics of the toasties I've done and i find that Kingsmill 50/50 (my usual loaf) fits perfik! So far, so good. FABULOUSI have never ever owned a sandwich toasting machine, yes, that's right, you read correctly NEVER OWNED ONE.

. Thought we'd tackle thick cheese and onion toasted sandwiches first off and as you can see, they were a great success. I honestly don't know what people's beefs are over this machine!

I really can't fault it. Great buy waffles came out amazing defintly great value for money as other reviews have advised bigger bread will be better, but they sealed well enough) and we tried the waffles for desert (used a Jamie Oliver recipe mix and took around 8 mins to cook - pic shows image of checking the cook and colouring at around 5 mins) the plates are really easy to change over, but they do take a while to cool down and take a bit of practice holding the release buttons down to get them back in, but really not that much of an issue and I’m sure I’ll get used to it. Used for the first time this morning.

When cooking waffles, be careful of steam jets that pop the lid open if you just open the catch; instead, hold the handles tight together, then undo the catch and lift the lid, this prevents any sudden escape of steam. I've also done panini toasties aswell. Arrived a day early - 2 very happy kids. So far I am very pleased with my choice and would recommend this item.
