In all a good read. This was my first book by this author and while it was darker than the cosy crime I was expecting, it was highly addictive.

I really enjoyed this locked room mystery thriller. This is the second book I’ve read by this author and I’ll definitely read more. I'm glad I did.
THE FRIENDLY BOOK NOOK,admin Chrissie
Seven stops. With the train stuck in snow in the middle of nowhere, a killer stalks its carriages, picking off passengers one by one. The short chapters made this a fast paced read and easy to pick up while the writing style was sharp and entertaining. Some of the characters joining her on the train are a quiz team, a social media star and her boyfriend, a teacher on a career break and his family, a stowaway and a fabulous cat with an equally fabulous name.
Then there was the Christmas Oub Quiz! . Can former Met detective Roz Parker find the killer before they kill again?
A slow burn book with a twist at the end that I didn't see coming. Eighteen passengers on a train and one killer. One killer. In the early hours of Christmas Eve, the sleeper train to the Highlands is derailed, along with the festive plans of its travellers.
