The media could not be loaded. Zakroff takes an academic approach- exploring historical origins of symbols and sigils- complete with a full bibliography in the back. The only "negative" I find in the book is the 19x19cm square format that can make it uncomfortable to read. Her insight is unique and refreshing.

It is a very complete book, Laura does an excellent job in capturing and sharing her vision and method to design and use sigils, the language is colloquial and clear, it includes a "practice" section to help people who are just beginning these practices . Beautiful well written book with amazing art inside! This book is a real gem amongst the seas of generic books on witchcraft and related topics. Her writing is engaging and sometimes humorous.
