Get 3 for the price of one Apple unit. The best part, it works flawlessly. USB out into the adapter, adapter into iPad (+ a USB C power source into adapter if you’d like to charge the iPad at the same). Works with GarageBand as well as just overriding the mics when shooting basic video.

Apple charges $70(! ) for a PLASTIC version of a functionally identical device. Will update if it dies prematurely, but so far I’m tickled by this device.

I’m writing this review for any guitarists that are looking a way to get audio direct out of a Helix device (though I imagine it would work for most modelers, can confirm L6 USB B > A) and into an iPad Pro. ! No more recording ideas with room mics, direct in forever.
