well worth it, I'm sure i'll have other uses for it in the future too so I am happy I went ahead and bought it. The textured grip is wonderful to the touch and ensures you can grip the knife properly as to avoid any accidents. I decided it was worth the £5 or whatever this cost (can't actually remember) to speed things up as I had heaps and heaps of crayons to make. .

The quality of the knife is great! I use it for soft clay and it works for me! I've not had any issues with the blade becoming loose, but one must be careful and tighten the knife correctly.
