Despite being a fan of Watson the comedian, I had never picked up one of his books - quite the mistake, it transpires. I really recommend this book. All thats left to do is to send a last message to all his 158 contacts on his phone informing them of his intentions to take his own life. It was a very clever concept, and all of the characters were three dimensional and believable.

OK, I know it sounds like the plot for some noir novel or misery memoir, but it's well told, gently and with humour. I loved this book. And the ending was a real gut punch. Contacts was not quite what I was expecting, but it was cleverly written.
