Other than that the fitment is perfect against the HD800, Arya and Z1R. I returned HD800s/HD8XX.

The amount of detail, wide sound stage, and feeling of 'air' in the music was like nothing I've heard before. A bit more bass, a lot more mid-range clarity, and taming of the highs. "Example: I have Sony Z1R and SonyZ7 m1. They have a very transparent sound, everything can be heard from both sides of the earcups, nothing is enclosed.

if you pay $800~$1500+ for headphones and then you are told you need to pay another $400-$2000 more to unlock the potential of the headphones, for bass, mid or terrible via DAC or AMP. I did an immense amount of research prior to purchasing the Hifiman Arya headphones. HIFIMAN needs to offer a different headband size as an option for the Arya, if you have a small head you will look crazy with these on!
