No warning or guarantee leaflets were inside the box too. I did some tests to see how it fares against some 'compatible' batteries as well as against original DeWalt 4Ah ones.

I am very glad that I received a genuine DEWALT DCB184-XJ XR Lithium-Ion Battery, 5Ah, 18V exact match an item as my old one. This 5Ah battery appears to be genuine.

1: 22 min- Original DeWalt 4Ah battery no. 2: 22 minI attached the photos of the battery and the box it came in. It did not have any marks or scratches but the packaging looks very basic and the battery was just sitting in the box without any bag or wrap.

1 - 19 min- Original DeWalt 4Ah battery no. I do not know if this battery was brand new or not when I received it. It charges just fine and appears to have a correct capacity too.
It looks like the 5Ah DeWalt battery I received is genuine and performs well against the competition. This is definitely not a retail packaging.
