It was very informative on a piece of history, the act of regicide and what the three main characters may have gone through in that period, With no holds barred on how things where done in that period. Didn’t know much about the English Civil War prior to reading this so everything was fresh and intriguing. I found this book fascinating.

Loved it I would agree that, when the fiction based on historical facts morphs into pure fiction, it looses some of its edge.
