I than just shut off the WIFI from my ATT Gateway and only use the Amplify HD wireless connection. You need their router (the cube) and mesh points to become a full mesh system. (had to look up connecting a unit to my gateway) My speeds are 300 down and 300 up.

Directly connected to the unit I get full speed up and down sometimes lowest down at 280/290 but always full amount or more up stream. You have to set the router to hardware NAT to ON.

You select the Amplify unit, save and restart everything. If your gateway doesnt have bridge mode. REALLY GOOD RANGE.

Absolutely recommend this. change the settings on gateway side so you dont lose features. From what I read in thier main forum not using it caps at 500 down and up. But wanted to give people a heads up.
