The children find it mildly infuriating that the different colours stick together so well, even with only brief and accidental contact, but at least given the bead size, they can separated and regrouped with a certain amount of patience. This is so similar to the floam I used to play with as a child, and it sure brings back memories. I work with kids who have autism, and this a great alternative to Playdoh.

Although the Playfoam feels sticky, no residue is left on your hands. So far it seems like an improvement over playdough, as even though a small number of the small beads transfer regularly into hair and hands, they definitely do come out easily. Currently highly recommended, if you understand the limitations.

My son says thank you for something new- different and he describe this like sticky playdoh. We tried this after getting sick of trying to get playdough out of the living room carpet. It would be nice if the Playfoam combo pack came with a container, besides the plastic and cardboard packaging, to keep the foam in.

It doesn’t dry out (for a long time! Overall though, I think this is a wonderful toy and a decent value for the price. 💕 I use this, as an adult, to help manage anxiety and ground myself with.

This stuff looked as though it might be easier to clean up as the piece are a fixed size, they look like tiny little polystyrene balls, brightly coloured and mixed through with some sort of semi sticky mastic that gives the whole thing a similar feel to a rice crispy square. I am going to try to use this at the table only, so that hair, dirt, and dust, don’t get stuck to it.
