All in all I'm happy with my purchase. .

This an excellent bit of kit. it does a little charging dance before it gets going which is explained in the paperwork, basically, It can take a few seconds before it starts charging while the laptop and the adapter agree on a voltage.

7W(with 85W magsafe2 charger) therefore slow charging(based on MacBook Pro 2017), could be different for other chargers though- MagSafe1/2 light diode not lighting to depict charging stateHappy to recommend. The adapter can get warm but never too hot to hold. Charges the Macbook in a reasonable time. This feels like a quality product - I have two suggestions for improvement:-make it compatible so you can see the magsafe charging light come on-it should "guide" the magsafe connector into place more securely as it takes some fiddling to make it connect

Bought one AnyWatt adaptor originally and is working so well got another for the home office too! I was very doubtful about this, but it works! Very happy, save yourself some money and use your old Magsafe chargers. Hooked it up to my Thunderbolt monitor and it works great.

I've been using this product about a week now to make use of the numerous old MagSafe chargers littered around the house. Good little piece of kit to make use of your old power adaptors! Use it in the office to charge my 15" MacBook Pro (2018) via the MagSafe connector on my Apple Thunderbolt display. Definitely a great investment £22 rather than £79 for a second Apple power adapter.

The unit is well made and nicely finished with an aluminium body. Will be buying another for my home setup. Light stays green regardless of the laptop's battery status, but that's fine.
