There is a LOT in this game that people have to unpack through multiple replay sessions - but given it's complexity it is also comparatively easy to teach. Looking forward to receiving that play mat! There are many differences between the two games, of course, but if someone can handle Scythe, that person can handle this game too.

This is a Top Buy. The price I paid on Amazon ($399. There are many facets to gameplay that work together to create a very balanced and fun game. And - with a 3 hour playtime for 4 players - it's still within the timeframe of a challenging, but not physically and mentally grating gaming experience.
