Suitable for 8 years plusThe cube contains 50 games which are a mix of electronic games which you play by downloading The Cube app to a device or laptop and physical games which are all included in the box. The physical games are not as easy would you think and with the electronic timer playing the cube music the pressure is on to beat the clock! I look forward to playing the game with more family members as I think the more players you have the merrier!

And we love it. And the player cards provide all the details needed to play the different games with detailed instructions and graphics. Apparently there are many more interactive games that can be played if you download an App but as pensioners my wife and I are not as Internet experienced so we have just tried out some of the manual games against the timer so far. The variations of games that can be built using the different components is endless.

We enjoy the TV programme so these mini home versions are just like what we see on television and the timer does create, flustered, laughter-filled excitement. We are an adult only family so it’s nice to find a game suitable for adults but still fun and gets us more active for some after dinner fun! The Cube game by IdealThe family challenge game for 2-8 players!
This is a well-designed family game and it is packaged in a quality colourful box and components that are well made – so this will make a great gift especially at Christmas. A rare game-show tie in in that playing it does actually fairly accurately replicate the game itself: As well as miniature reproductions of the TV game show set and an electronic timer, there is also the option to extend the gameplay by downloading a dedicated app which enables you to play more games, making 50 options in all. Stacking decreasing sized cubes sounds so easy but against the background music clock is nerve-wreckingly enjoyable. Even trying to simply drop the large red ball from standing into the clear cube is frustratingly entertaining.
