Jumpin' Jim's Camp Ukulele is a collection of 40 family sing-along songs arranged for GCEA-tuned uke. Included are classics such as Home On The Range, Happy Trails, Take Me Out To The Ballgame, The Lion Sleeps Tonight and, of course, Hello Mudduh, Hello Fadduh. The other option is to play the chord names and ignore the dots. As a result, "Favorites" also includes songs in these tunings. Open 7 Days A Week! Learning how to play the banjo is no different. Many of those books featured 3 different uke tunings including ADF#B, GCEA and FBbDG.

However, I am not there yet. And there are so many beautiful vintage photographs all throughout the book!

What IS different in this baritone edition is the use of chord boxes which are now appropriate for the BU. An excellent area of usefulness for this edition is therefore if a baritone uke player wants to jam or join in with others who use the original GCEA edition.

The songs and the notation in this edition are unchanged. If you're interested in jazz styles, there are several truly excellent downloads that can be found if you search for themGood hunting if this suggestion appeals to you. -------------------------------------------------------Now back to my earlier comment that it's wrong to believe that there is a dirth of resources for players of the baritone ukelele.

The format is the perfect style for me - learn the cords on top of the song and then you can play them as you go. As well as a screenshot of one part of a page from the book, I've also uploaded 5 screenshots which show part of the archive of freely downloadable music that I've found on the internet. My solution; I ordered a LOW ''G'' string and replace my HI string. I leave the book out on the kitchen counter with my ukulele and at some point in the day I can usually remember to play at least one song.
This edition of 'The Daily Ukelele' is effectively the same as the original book which was put together for players of the three smaller types of uke which are all usually tuned GCEA. I'm mostly an instrumentalist, so these types of resource are proving invaluable. Still a lot of practice to do.
