I've Never been able to make rice properly, I'm not even a very good cook. Let it rest for 5 mins. ' and it have been pleasantly surprised.

Again, an effective and good looking product - and we can put those old hob pots away! The rice has been very good, and it's been very easy to use. It cooks rice perfectly and is super easy to clean afterwards. even when I watch the pan like a hawk it always seems to, in the blink of an eye, spill over the pan, and onto the stove and rice water makes such a mess.

This microwave rice cooker is great. BEST THING I'VE EVER BOUGHTI reduced the amounts in the instruction booklet, which has lots of lovely recipes in, I used 125g of rice and 300ml of cold water, to make just enough for me.

The instructions could've been a bit more helpful. I found the feet on mine were a bit too pointy and smooth meaning it would slip around the microwave platter so just took a file and shaved off a couple of mm off each foot to flatten them and roughen them a bit. It was also insanely cheap by comparison, so I thought 'what the heck, I'll give it a try!

I put 250gms of rice & 500mls of boiling water then put in microwave for 3 x minutes then stirred then back in microwave for another 3 x minutes & stirred then again for 4 x minutes ! For my family of 4, using a 900w microwave:2 cups of basmati rice, rinsed.

Perfect rice? I purchased this microwave iteration for simple convenience and have been totally surprised at how good this product is.
