Because I had suspected a defect. 3 times quickly shows the battery level/voltage and 4 times in quick succession, the flashlight can be locked and unlocked so that it does not simply come on in your pants, for example.

I'll probably buy another LD70. With a double click, it immediately jumps into turbo mode with 4000 lumens, which then switches to strobe mode again. At the back, there is a push button that switches the flashlight ON (last saved brightness) and OFF; if held for a longer period of time, the flashlight changes through the 4 brightness levels (20, 200, 900, 2000 lumens). The LD70 is larger than expected but easy to EDC, it also has a more modern sci-fi/hi- tech look about it.

The Imalent LD70 has a very wide beam of light and has a useful 900 lumens for 45 minutes. If you imagine running it permanently with 4000 lumens, I would advise against buying it, but you can work with the 20 to 900 lumens and is a great flashlight. A small OLED display is installed behind the IMALENT logo, which, for example, lock, switched on alternately shows the brightness, battery voltage and charge level when charging.

. With my LD70, I noticed that one of the 4 parts of the Cree XHP70 LED doesn't stop glowing, not strong but noticeable (see picture, left lamp).

My Olight i3T, i5T and S1R's are no match for the LD70. I ordered another second one to compare it, but the effect of the second one was much weaker there too.
