The visiting authors - including a blind medium, a French performance poet and a celebrity chef - seem to be harbouring any number of unpleasant secrets. . Today this rather fantastic book by Anthony Horowitz is released and I thoroughly enjoyed it! When the festival's wealthy sponsor is found brutally killed, Alderney goes into lockdown and Hawthorne knows that he doesn't have to look too far for suspects.

The killer is still on the island. Private Investigator Daniel Hawthorne has been invited to talk about his new book.
It’s a classic murder mystery set on the island of Alderney and stars …. Anthony Horowitz as the main character . If you love Agatha Christie , Sherlock Holmes or Midsommer murders this is for you This is another classic murder mystery from an author who puts himself into the book.
And there's about to be a second death. It has such a unique spin on the genre and I ended up loving it. What more could you ask for……a bunch of suspects, scattered clues,a few red herrings thrown in and the right amount of twists to make this a highly enjoyable and entertaining must read book A Line to Kill by Anthony HorowitzI give this book 4 starsAlderney the perfect location for a brand-new literary festival.
There's no escape. I absolutely love this clever concept and the writing style. The writer, Anthony Horowitz, travels with him.
