I wanted to fit my 50" 12kg Hisense TV to a Stud Wall so closely followed the instructions within. First issue was that the bolts were too big for the slots in the bracket - fixed by careful use of a file.

Second issue was that the heads on the bolts stick up quite a bit (especially with the washers) and interfered with the 'no gap' bracket. d) They do not sit flush with the surface of the plasterboard even when knocked down with a hammer as suggested.

Running a finger around the area should be enough. This means that the bracket is not fully in contact with the wall.

After seeing the great reviews for these I thought I'd give them a try. I wouldn't trust these fixings with one of those adjustable TV brackets that pull out from the wall, especially with a large TV. Wish I had not these gripit fixings are amazing so easy to install and amazingly strong.

I was very happy with the result though, the TV is on the still on the wall over 6 months later. I bought this off the back of the 'Customers who bought this. First of all, the fixings themselves are fine and do what they're supposed to.

Minor qibbles:a) The central part that you have to turn to expand the wings requires a very specific width of flat edged screwdriver. My entire DIY kit consists of an old screwdriver and a hammer.
