Mr. It’s a love letter to the Brontë’s and the area they called home. Historical stories, anecdotes, amusing tales and fabulous walks in beautiful Bronte Country - it's a winning formula and not to be missed! Travel writers need to have a voice that is a balance of knowledgeable and companionable.

As well as being full of interesting facts and figures about the South Pennine Hills (West of Bradford), this is a travelogue with heart and soul. In this book, Michael Stewart is like your favourite walking companion - always interesting and good company on your journey.
It’s easy to see how passionate Stewart is of this windswept land of purple heather, wuthering weather and moors as far as the eye can see. I love Stewart’s anecdotal style.
I can’t wait to follow in the Brontë’s footsteps on our return. I’ve loved Haworth and it’s surroundings since the first time we stepped foot in the little village of Stanbury, and this book makes me fall in love with it even more.
I love that we, the readers, are exploring this literary Mecca with him and his dog, Woolfie. I honestly cannot find anything bad to say about this brilliantly written, heartfelt tour of Brontë Country. Stewart achieves this balancing act with ease and skill.
