. "*Picking up exactly where book one ended, we see Brie come to terms with the life altering betrayal she suffered at the hand of one of her princes.

Headlines:Thrones and shadowsAngsty rideThree-way connectionsI liked book one but I didn’t completely love it. Honestly I'm obsessed with this duology. Having spent a majority of “These Hollow Vows” in the Seelie Court, Ryan allows the reader to explore the Wild Fae Lands and the Unseelie Court in “These Twisted Bonds.

” Through Brie’s point-of-view, the reader journeys to Staraelia, a town in the Court of the Moon, and is exposed to Lunastal, a celebration of the bounty of the harvest. *"This is a throne of the night, of the misfits and the lost.

So…result! Many of the truths that came to light blew my mind and sucked me further into the storyline. I loved where the story went next - it's action packed with a healthy dash of romance to boot.

Really enjoyed reading this. But is she willing to risk it all?
I loved how it wove Celtic traditions within the story too, for example the festival of Lughnasadh and Queen Medb (Mab). " The ending got me. Prince Ronan’s betrayal only deepens Brie’s connection with Prince Finnian and the shadow court by proxy.
