I feel like this book gives readers a heartbreakingly beautiful illustration of the ugly realities of unrequited love. I knew it was going to gut me and in true #AngstQueen fashion it did, but the burn wasn't quite as bad as I feared and in the end I was left with a warm, smooth finish. Excellent book but the only bad side is a few of the pages have come right out of the book when i turned the page. Love is the most powerful and real emotion we feel, and I think it’s sort of magical that we can experience some of the greatest loves of all time through books.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5 starsI have been a Kandi fan for several years and I have had ALLTW on my Kindle for just as long but for some reason I couldn't bring myself to read it. Every time I flip the page i’m worried about the page flying out or if i transport it im afraid of losing the pages.

I wanted to bring in the New Year with a bang and A Love Letter to Whiskey delivered. If you are someone that’s ever chalked one up to “bad timing” get ready to question everything you thought you knew. I get to be different types of lovers, I get to feel the heartbreak of love and the successes. Kandi brings us a contemporary romance about an unrequited love that managed to warm my soul, bring back an all too familiar ache of best friend unrequited love that hit me smack in my chest, only to, quite literally, obliterate my heart into about a billion little glass pieces, and somehow deliver it put back together but in a way that it will never be the same.

If you aren't a fan of angst and can't stand to be in almost constant turmoil I encourage you to find another read. "Sometimes we’re more terrified of the good things in life than we are of the bad. I am extremely pissed.
