It is really loud because of how the cars are being shot through the middle. It was not hard to put together, just snaps together. It is a bit on the bigger side so it does take up more room than we expected.

It does have the option to attach another hot wheels track to it with a side ramp. Not all cars work on the track, the trucks and heavier cars would cause some cars to crash but my son thought that was cool and some of the really lite weight cars just flew off the track because they go so fast. Its about 3 ft x 3ft when assembled.

It takes 4- D batteries. The more cars you run at one time the louder it is. .
