This tool removed the studs easily. If you have room it works well. Great to have!

The best bolt extractor

5" across open. The other alternative was to use a vise grips, but I stopped because the vice grips was galling the studs.

It's solid biult but big. I spent whole day removing knock/detonation sensor, barely removed sensor, but found out it got broken and remaining part still on engine. The tool did a fantastic job removing a very short stud bolt from my engine (pic A)I was able to buy a threaded bar and replace it, (pic B) very happy 😀 Probably 2.

If not this device, I'd need to remove exhaust pipes, starter and other stuffs around to make some room. Only option was to weld a nut on top. As you can see from picture it melted, and it was really hard to turn it off.
