Reviews

Salvo

The hard drives notice the errors and map the bad sectors to backup sectors. Her suggestion was to replace the plates again.

Detlev N.

All fault points have taken their final position and can be mapped to rescue sectors when recording primary defects in the enclosure. Important: It's CMR, there are other cheaper drives that are SMR (which are slower than the CMR). ! After approximately 1000 hours of operation, all “grown defects” have grown and the plates have been working flawlessly for me since about April 2018.

I've just reviewed this nas drive on my own tech blog and I praised it immensely. Even the temperatures are ok. so that I can wait 1000 hours of operation for the disks to reliably store data?

Jean-Baptiste

After 9 months of use I am very happy. At around 45°C, it takes about 1000 hours for all defects to grow. I have currently tested two 4TB Seagate Barracuda. it all works and that's the most important thing:)
