They have a very thick wire to each other, which over time can stagger. On monitors, they are very good if you limit yourself to what the manufacturer advises, which is nothing more or less than using them in a small room. As for the sound, I was surprised by the quality and depth of the bass but slightly disappointed by the mids and slightly hard treble. - BT sound quality not a patch on wired inputs - but you knew that.

The various inputs and Bluetooth are very versatile and go some way to make up for the looks. My room is 3x3m and monitors like a krk rp5 make a bass ball and force me to dim the low frequencies.

I was mildly disappointed that a British, rather than an Australian, power cord was supplied, but at least the voltage was correct and it was easy to find an appropriate power cord. Their fit and finish is good - they wipe over easily in kitchen. BUT, I am genuinely thrilled with the sound and quality. So the ILouds are now set up in my lounge mounted on desktop mic stands sitting on top of a couple of units and working very well.

5 mm sockets, so adapters for 6. But these are perfect for me having a mix. If this is the second thing, personally to buy second-hand products I do not use amazon.

Crank it up to max and things do break down a bit, but these aren’t really designed to be full-on party speakers or for deep house/dubstep fiends. The monitors can be angled up or mounted on mic stands for ideal positioning, and room acoustics can be allowed for by adjusting basic Eq controls on the rear of the main speaker. Quick and easy to install, I added an iFi power supply and a cheap FiiO Tashan DAC, then connected all to Squeezebox Touch.
