About this deal
Older bottling of the 12-year-old matured in both traditional oak and sherry casks, this demonstrates the rich, intensity of Aberlour single malt. PUBLIC HEALTH CODE, ART. For sherry lovers. Aberlour uses a mix of ex-bourbon and former sherry casks for most of its maturation, with sherry usually playing a prominent part. Bottle Size: 750ml Nc’Nean Distillery is introducing third seasonal release from their Autumn series, Quiet Rebels. It’s a classic cocktail that’s withstood the test of time for a reason – you have to try it. Sherried character and fruity aromas on the palate, very well balanced with rich chocolate, toffee, cinnamon and ginger spiciness flavours. Hugely earthy, fruity and quaffable stuff.

I'm no connoisseur, and I did like both whiskies, but the 12 feels a lot smoother, and generally much more pleasant. Nice whisky presented in a nice chunky bottle.

As soon as I tried this whisky I bought three more bottles. So when I tried it myself I did appreciate there are various flavours, most of which I've forgotten by now, including the chocolate, but as the scent is ridiculously chocolatey, that's the one I'm reporting on. I'd definitely buy this again. You can definitely taste the fruitiness of it being finished in sherry casks.

Not too harsh a swallow, even for a non whisky drinker. Everyone commented on the chocolate notes as well. Where did my pants go? Very chubby looking
