They’re both very multi-faceted characters - strong and family focussed on the outside, but vulnerable and insecure on the inside due to their complex familial relationships. Rhett hates having a babysitter and Summer just wants to keep him out of trouble. I bought the entire Chestnut Springs series because of the hype then proceeded not to start it for months. “You wear the hat, you ride the cowboy”Can I just say how much I lived for the text messages at the beginning of the chapters?
