I could say so much more about this book as there so much emotion and drama all the way through but I don’t want to give too much away, all I can say is read please complete your love for The Firefly Girls. Marah Ryan is a grief stricken, guilt stricken and a very angry teenager, she believes that her mum hated her and feels so guilty that she never apologised or spoke to her mum about the troubles she gave her. After zipping through Firefly Lane pretty quickly, I was figuratively holding my breath when Fly Away arrived. I enjoyed this sequel to Firefly Lane almost as much as I enjoyed the first book.

where do I begin, Fly Away was amazing in a lot of ways but in some ways it was very hard to read, a lot of controversial subjects were touched upon throughout the book making this book in a way the very opposite to its predecessor. It seemed to drag a bit in the middle but with only around 100 pages left, I could not decipher how in the world Kristin was going to fix the tangled mess of despair she so carefully crafted over 2 books. Like Firefly Lane, Fly Away felt different in many ways than other books by @Kristinhannahauthor. Believe it or not, I liked Fly Away more than Firefly Lane.
