I enjoyed the book, found it very well-written, but it's far from my favorite in the series. A marriage in trouble and second chance story isn't one I normally gravitate to but WOW did King of Greed change that for me. The book follows Alessandra and Dominic who have been married for 10 years.

Dominic is a master at finance and the King of Wall Street but is absolutely oblivious to the destruction of his own marriage by his own hands. Oh my heart is full of emotions for this couples story and I simply can't stop thinking about it. She wasn’t a push over.

King Of Greed by Ana Huang develops the story of Dominic and Alessandra Davenport. "King of Pride" is still the best of the three for me. Alessandra was joyful and optimistic but somewhere along the way she forgot her dreams to become the wife of Dominic Davenport, until she decided to put herself first becoming a badass queen that knew her worth and didn’t accept anything less than what she deserved. 🥹💛But I do feel like the book was fast paced and that Dom should have tried more harder to win back Ale.

I completely understood why Ale was feeling so neglected by Dom but I also why he felt so compelled to work the way he did. My heart broke for Alessandra as she was grieving for her marriage ending and losing the man she loves. However that wasn’t the case.

I will say Dominic had my heart with his sentimental gestures and his undying devotion to her. " Well, my expectations were through the roof because the hype was out of this world. It's nowhere near as good as "King of Pride," which is still my favorite, and I genuinely believe I've never seen two characters make more sense in a love story. , Alessandra stood by him.

” so me being the dark romance lover I am, instantly thought his wife was kidn***ed and we’d spend 20% of the book getting her back. When the scenes are jumping between times, it can be disruptive. I understood the need to show both the characters’ past and present, but the way it was executed took me out of my comfortable little reading zone.
